Subscription & Connection FAQs
Having trouble opening ChatGPT, streaming, or working remotely? Start with the relevant category. Check your account, configuration, route, and destination platform separately instead of repeatedly changing unrelated settings.
Account & Subscription
From creating an account to switching devices, make sure your subscription is saved in the right place.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Follow the prompts in the user dashboard to enter and save your login details. Use a unique password and store it in your password manager. Your account lets you view plans, access your subscription, and submit support tickets; it is separate from your ChatGPT or streaming service account. Before leaving the dashboard, make sure you can log in again. Don’t post your login details or subscription link in public forums. If you have trouble accessing your account, visit the contact page for the support ticket link and instructions.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how should I store it?
Sign in to the user dashboard and find your subscription details in the account overview. Use the option provided there to copy the link or import it into your client. Before you do, check your plan status and data balance. Paste the entire link into the client’s subscription import field; don’t bookmark it as a regular website address or keep opening it in a browser. Your subscription link is an account credential. Anyone who obtains it may be able to access the associated connection configuration. Store it only on your own devices and in trusted clients. When submitting a ticket or sharing a screenshot, hide the link and any access credentials it contains.
How do I update the subscription link in my client?
If the link hasn’t changed, open the subscription management or configuration page in your client and update the existing subscription. When the update finishes, check the server list again. Updating a subscription fetches the configuration again; it doesn’t create another account or require another payment. If the dashboard provides a new subscription link, replace the old address in your client, update it, and make sure the new configuration is active. If the update fails, check your internet connection, make sure the copied link is complete, and confirm that your plan is active. Don’t import the same link repeatedly, as this can create duplicate configurations that are hard to tell apart.
Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch or add a device?
VPNAH supports unlimited devices, so you don’t need to choose a new plan just because you switch devices or add one for your own use. Sign in to the user dashboard on the new device, download the client for that platform, and import your subscription. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported; permission prompts and option names may differ by platform. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data, so check the data status shown for your plan. Before passing on an old device, sign out and delete any saved subscription configuration to keep your access credentials from going with it.
Does a no-logs policy mean account information isn’t stored either?
VPNAH’s no-logs policy is a service commitment; it doesn’t mean account, order, and support ticket information doesn’t exist. Accounts are used for sign-in and subscription delivery, orders for payment and plan status, and support tickets for resolving specific issues. These uses are separate from browsing activity logs. See the privacy policy for details about how information is handled. You should still protect your password and subscription link. You’re also responsible for managing browser sign-in sessions, information stored by websites you visit, and app permissions on your devices.
Connection Issues
Check your local network first, then review your subscription, permissions, and app rules.
What should I check if it says connected but webpages won’t load?
Disconnect the client first and check that your local network can access familiar websites. Then sign in to the dashboard and check your plan status and remaining data. Reconnect, make sure the client has the right subscription enabled and a working server selected, then test another familiar website. “Connected” usually means the client configuration or connection is active; it doesn’t mean every website has responded. If no websites load, check the system proxy permissions, see whether other network tools are running at the same time, and review any error messages in the client. Change one setting at a time to help identify the cause.
Why does my browser work but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Apps can handle system proxy settings differently. If your browser works but an app can’t connect, check the client’s current mode and rules to make sure the app’s traffic isn’t set to bypass the proxy. Some apps don’t use the system proxy and may require another connection mode supported by the client. Before enabling one, read the platform instructions in the dashboard and confirm that you’ve granted the required system permissions. Don’t assume it’s working just because the app icon lights up; open the content you need to verify. If you need help, include the app name, operating system, and error message in your support ticket.
What should I do if subscription import fails or shows a format error?
Go back to the user dashboard and copy the subscription details again. Check for extra spaces, line breaks, or text added by a messaging app, and make sure you’re using the dashboard link for your client. Clients may accept different configuration formats, so you can’t import any arbitrary configuration as a universal subscription. If a complete copy still fails, check that your device has an internet connection and your plan is active, then note the error shown by the client. When submitting a ticket, say whether the failure happened while copying, downloading the configuration, or importing it. Don’t include your full subscription link or account password.
How should I respond to a system prompt asking for network permissions?
Follow the instructions for your platform in the user dashboard. Confirm the prompt comes from the client you’re using, then decide whether to allow it to add a network configuration or enable a network extension. These system permissions determine whether the client can handle the relevant traffic. If you deny them, the client may open without actually connecting. If you previously denied a permission, check the client’s authorization status in your system settings. Don’t disable your system’s security features just to connect, and don’t install configurations from unknown sources. If the prompt doesn’t match the instructions, take a screenshot with your account details hidden and ask through a support ticket.
What information should I include in a connection troubleshooting ticket?
Include your platform, client name, selected region and route type, the website or service you’re trying to access, and what you were doing when the error appeared. Also say whether your local network is working, whether other websites load, and whether you’ve updated the subscription or tried another route. This helps support distinguish account, configuration, and website issues. Keep the error message visible in screenshots, but hide your password, subscription link, and other access credentials. Don’t just say it isn’t working, and don’t share configuration files publicly. Sign in to the user dashboard to submit a ticket, then add any follow-up test results to the same ticket.
Speed & Routes
Compare routes based on what you access, not just their names or a single metric.
How can I tell whether peak-hour slowdowns call for a different route or a local network check?
First, disconnect the client and see whether your local network is also slow when accessing familiar websites. If it is, check your Wi-Fi signal, background downloads, and current network conditions. If only websites accessed while connected are slow, try another region or route type in the client and compare the same website using the same action. Keep other conditions as consistent as possible so you don’t mistake a change in app cache or video quality for a better route. Peak-hour performance can also depend on the destination and cross-border network path, so one test can’t predict long-term performance. If the issue persists, include your test results in a support ticket.
Which regions are available, and how do I choose a route that works for me?
VPNAH covers 110+ countries and 220+ routes. Check the user dashboard and your updated client list for the specific regions and route names currently available. Start with the region requirements of the website or service you want to access, then compare connection stability, page loading, and how reliably you can complete your usual tasks. A closer region isn’t necessarily the best choice for every app. Test AI tools, streaming services, and remote work platforms individually rather than relying on route names alone. The server locations page explains regions and route types, but your choice should ultimately be based on real-world results.
What’s the difference between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?
These terms describe how a route is set up, not a speed guarantee for every destination. IEPL refers to a dedicated link, relay routes forward traffic through an intermediary, and direct routes use a more direct connection path. Your experience also depends on your local network, exit region, and the service you’re accessing. First check whether the destination is reachable, then compare how reliably your usual tasks work. You don’t need to rank routes by type alone. The routes available in your client depend on your current subscription. If one route has issues, try another and include the original route name in your support ticket.
What should I do if ChatGPT, Gemini, or a streaming service says it isn’t available in my region?
First, check whether the selected exit region is currently supported by the platform, then make sure your client’s rules send the app or website through that route. Close and reopen the app to see whether the message changes. Existing browser sessions and cached data may also affect what you see. Network access is only one part of the process; the platform determines account eligibility, service policies, and whether its own services are working. A working route doesn’t guarantee access to every feature. Don’t repeatedly change your account details. If the issue persists, provide the platform’s message and your selected region so the problem can be investigated.
Why are video streams or file transfers still slow when route latency looks low?
Latency measures how quickly a response makes the round trip. It isn’t the same as file transfer speed and doesn’t tell you whether video will play smoothly. Video and large downloads are also affected by the destination server, content delivery path, local network, and background tasks. Pause other downloads and compare the same content on other routes. If only one website is slow, check its status or try another exit region. For remote work, also check that sessions stay connected and files upload completely. Don’t choose a plan based on a single metric; performance in the situations you actually use matters more.
Billing & Refunds
Check prices, data resets, and refunds separately. Use the dashboard to confirm account changes.
What do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans cost ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day your plan started. Choose based on how much you browse, stream, and work online, rather than device count—VPNAH supports unlimited devices. Monthly plans suit regular use, but check the data and plan status in your account. Reset dates vary by account; they don’t all fall on the same calendar day. See the pricing page for full plan details, and check your account status and next steps in the user dashboard.
How do I choose between a data pack and a monthly plan, and do data packs expire?
Data packs cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They last until used and never expire. A data pack may suit you if your usage is occasional and you want to match access to your actual data use. If you stream often or work online regularly, compare monthly plan allowances and reset schedules. Data packs don’t expire, but they aren’t unlimited, so keep an eye on your remaining balance. Don’t assume how data packs and monthly plans combine or which is used first. Before changing your current plan, check the dashboard instructions; if anything is unclear, confirm through a support ticket first.
How is the price difference handled if I upgrade a monthly plan partway through?
The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before changing plans, check your current plan in the user dashboard, then review the confirmation details on the plan page and verify the order before proceeding. An upgrade doesn’t mean every account pays the same additional amount. Don’t convert the price difference into extra data yourself; the result depends on your usage and the change shown in the dashboard. If the confirmation page doesn’t match your expectations, stop and submit a support ticket with your current plan and the tier you want. After the order is complete, check your account status and update your client subscription if needed.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my status doesn’t update after payment?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Use the payment options shown for your current order in the user dashboard. After paying, return to your orders and account overview to check the order result and plan status. Don’t assume an order is complete just because the external payment page has closed. If your payment record and dashboard status don’t match, first check that you used the right account and order. Then submit a support ticket with the order details and a payment receipt with sensitive information hidden. Don’t retry the same payment before its status is confirmed, and don’t post a complete receipt in a public group.
What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?
VPNAH offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, sign in to the user dashboard and submit a support ticket with your request and relevant order details so the account and payment record can be checked. See the refund section of the Terms of Service for the scope and full conditions. You don’t need to explain your personal usage publicly. Don’t include your account password or subscription link in a ticket. Watch for a reply and continue the conversation in the same ticket if more information is needed. Request review and payment provider processing are separate steps; don’t assume a delivery date or a fixed processing time.
